Tara works in MGLAW's litigation and insolvency practice areas and guides her business clients through disputes and restructurings both in and out of the Chapter 11 context. Tara received her law degree from Vanderbilt University Law School in 2005, where she was Associate Editor of the Vanderbilt Law Review. During her time at Vanderbilt, Tara was also awarded the Lightfoot, Franklin & White Best Brief Award and Vanderbilt Scholastic Excellence Award in Legal Writing II.
Tara is a member of the Nashville, Tennessee, and American Bar Associations, the American Bankruptcy Institute, Lawyers Association for Women ("LAW"), and is Treasurer of the Tennessee chapter of the International Women's Insolvency & Restructuring Confederation ("IWIRC").
